Vacation Lake Gaston
Lake Gaston is truly one of the outstanding lakes in the country! It's great for swimming, boating, fishing, jet skiing, water skiing, sailing and much more! It is approximately 34 miles long, one and one half miles wide at the widest part, has over 350 miles of shoreline and over 20,000 surface acres of high quality water. One of the great features of the lake is that because it is used for generating hydroelectric power, it must be kept within 1 foot of it's normal level by regulation. Because of this, even when surrounding lakes are low due to drought conditions, Lake Gaston is at or very near its normal levels.
We now have two great houses for you to enjoy.
The first is Hideaway, which we have had since it was new in the summer of 2005. Hideaway has a striking main lake location with panoramic views.
The second one is Summer Breeze, which is about 3 miles west of Hideaway. Summer Breeze was recently completed at the beginning of June 2008 and is now available for rent. Summer Breeze is located in a protective cove just one lot off of the main lake.
Both are phenomenal houses with 6 bedrooms and approximately 4200 Square Feet of living area. Both houses are well appointed with quality furnishings and everything you will need for a fun and relaxing vacation at Lake Gaston.
