Harbor Drive is a new road that isn’t in any of the Map databases that I’ve seen.  The following Yahoo Maps link marks the spot where you turn off of Pine Bluff onto Harbor Drive:

 The Map programs don’t always seem to be able to find the optimal paths into the house.  We recommend the following directions.

From Raleigh-Durham, Richmond, and Points West and North (I-85)

  1. Take I-85 North to exit #229 (Oine Rd.)
  2. Turn RIGHT at the top of the exit onto Oine Rd.
  3. Turn LEFT (almost immediately) onto Beaver Dam Rd.  (Go 3.4 Miles)
    Beaver Dam Rd. becomes Michaels Quarry Rd. at some point, and comes to a "T" at Rt. 1.
  4. Turn LEFT onto Route 1  (Go 0.6 Miles)
  5. Turn RIGHT onto Wise-Five Forks Rd.  (Go 7.8 Miles – until you reach the Five Forks Intersection)
    Pay Jay's convenience store is on the Right just before Wise-Five Forks Rd.
    When you cross Oakville Rd., bear LEFT to stay on Wise-Five Forks.
  6. Turn LEFT onto Robinson Ferry Rd.  (Go 0.9 Miles)
  7. Bear LEFT onto Pine Bluff  (Go 0.4 Miles)
  8. Turn RIGHT onto Harbor Drive  (Go 1.1 Miles)
    Go through the Harbor Landing gate.
  9. 382 Harbor Drive is on the Right

 From Richmond and Points North (I-85 South)

  1. Take I-85 South to exit #233 (Rt 1)
  2. Turn LEFT onto Rt. 1 South  (Go 3.1 Miles)
  3. Turn LEFT onto Wise-Five Forks Rd.  (Go 7.8 Miles – until you reach the Five Forks Intersection)
    Pay Jay's convenience store is on the left just after Wise-Five Forks Rd.
    When you cross Oakville Rd., bear LEFT to stay on Wise-Five Forks.
  4. Turn LEFT onto Robinson Ferry Rd.  (Go 0.9 Miles)
  5. Bear LEFT onto Pine Bluff  (Go 0.4 Miles)
  6. Turn RIGHT onto Harbor Drive  (Go 1.1 Miles)
    Go through the Harbor Landing gate.
  7. 382 Harbor Drive is on the Right

 From Points South

  1. Take I-95 North to Roanoke Rapids, then follow the directions below.

 From Roanoke Rapids and Points East (Rt. 158 West)

  1. Take US-158 West.
  2. Turn RIGHT onto Church Hill Rd. (Go 5.6 Miles) to Five Forks
    Churchhill Rd. is immediately after the Halifax Electric Membership Company (HEMC) building on the left. 
  3. Bear RIGHT onto Robinson Ferry Rd.  (Go 0.9 Miles)
  4. Bear LEFT onto Pine Bluff  (Go 0.4 Miles)
  5. Turn RIGHT onto Harbor Drive  (Go 1.1 Miles)
    Go through the Harbor Landing gate.
  6. 382 Harbor Drive is on the Right

 From Eaton’s Ferry Marina (River Rd. / Eaton Ferry Rd. – The road that bi-sects Lake Gaston)

  1. Starting from Eaton’s Ferry Marina.
  2. Take Eaton Ferry Road South. (Go 4.6 Miles)
  3. Turn RIGHT onto Fleming Mill Rd. (Go 3.8 Miles)
    Cross Hubquarter Rd.
  4. Turn RIGHT onto Church Hill Rd. (Go 2.1 Miles) to Five Forks
  5. Bear RIGHT onto Robinson Ferry Rd.  (Go 0.9 Miles)
  6. Bear LEFT onto Pine Bluff  (Go 0.4 Miles)
  7. Turn RIGHT onto Harbor Drive  (Go 1.1 Miles)
    Go through the Harbor Landing gate.
  8. 382 Harbor Drive is on the Right
